Isle of Man TT - Redline

Sulby Straight section of the TT course is the fastest section of all. Speeds can reach over 200mph.
During practice for the 2006 Isle of Man TT race, New Zealand competitor Bruce Anstey was timed through a speed-trap at a speed of 206 mph (331.51 km/h)on the Sulby Straight.

Jensen P Well as I like high adrenaline places to watch I tend to choose fast straights and set up on the side the racers will be nearest before turning in. So Cronk Y Voddy straight on the left hand side grass verge before the right hand bend or Hillberry at the end of the wall on the left before they take the right. A place no one goes is just on the right after Crosby Jump, there is a small wall and you can sit just next to it. Sulby Straight is where I took some high speed footage but since my other video From Start To Finish they now have marshall’s in that location to check no one hides in the bushes.

If you want to know how fast they actually go......an£ it isn’t sped up like many think it is......they are passing this point at approx 195 mph on the 1000cc four cylinder bikes, and are at top speed / 6th gear, for just over a half mile here , 👍🇮🇲

Watched this and thought yeh that's speeded up footage but then you look at the trees in the background moving in the wind and it definitely isn't speeded up. Wow. You've got to be a little bit mental to do those kind of speeds on public roads. But much respect to the TT riders.
