Isle of Mull Wildlife

I recently had 2 days on Mull with my good friend and wildlife enthusiast Keith Harvey (www.facebook.c.... We stayed in Bunessan at the south end of the island, close to Fionnphort & Iona. We had a fantastic day with wildlife guide Bryan Rains of www.wildaboutmu..., who took us out in search of otters & white-tailed eagles (sea eagles). He didn’t disappoint!
Ideally I would have liked to have had more time to get some better footage of the sea eagles (in flight) and spent more time on the shoreline with the seals, as well as take in more of the landscape, which is wonderful. However, there’s always a next time…………….

Some really good wildlife shot here - excellent image quality. Were the close-up shots done mainly with the drone? Doesn't it frighten the animals away? Lovely vid.

Hi Jim. Thanks. No I try not to fly the drone anywhere near any wildlife I'd disturb. The close ups were with my long lens (Panasonic Leica 100-400mm) on my GH5 micro four thirds camera. That gives the equivalent 35mm focal length of 200-800mm zoom, which is pretty big. The camera and the lens are great for video.
