More information on the lanterns, if you discard a lantern, keep it in a separate discard pile so you can keep an eye on the amount of lanterns claimed, because it’s not the amount of lanterns in players hands that matters it’s the amount of lanterns that get claimed. That’s all that matters when the game ends. So for example (in a 2 player game) if there’s 2 lanterns in the discard pile and 2 lanterns in a players hand that they claimed and still have and then a player claims the next lantern that’s completely 5 lanterns that have been claimed and it’s a game over.

@@carlossalazar-lm3yx if you liked it, I also have made how to play videos for many other red raven games, like empires of the void 2, in fact I even videos explaining how and when and where each and every event works in empires of the void 2.

So the way the shrine of sacrifice works, is when you claim it, you discard 5 unique cards and then the shrine of sacrifice is worth 10 victory points.

Is a unique card, a different “card type” that would get stacked, or does any difference count? For instance, would a beetle card with no magic symbol and a beetle card with magic symbols count as two unique cards or would they only count as one since they’re both a beetle “card type”?

@ no a unique card wouldn’t be a beetle with the star ⭐️ icon, and a beetle without. They are both the same card. It’s just one provides the star icon and the other one doesn’t. Remember some of the beetle cards have 2 beetles and some only have one beetle, but they are still the same card. A unique card would be each differently named card you have.
