Some atmospheric shots in the afternoon sunshine on the Island. Good shot of the interior of the compartment and the cab of the loco. Engine sounds picked up very well due to a lack of wind on the day I presume! Thanks for uploading.

@@WooWooMad I have been reading Maycock and Silsbury's 'Isle of Wight Railways' and their 'Isle of Wight Central Railway' which provide the background information which would enable you to make a documentary from your footage. There is a plan to replace the tube trains with more modern refurbished D stock in 2021 which includes alterations to the track plan at Brading. Now, this development provides you with the perfect excuse to visit the Island this summer and have a wonderful day making your documentary, Maycock and Silsbury having been your bedtime reading! Have fun and a great day out!

Dear Coolt’s Trains of 2021, Oh, Yes ! ! ! HD Digital has been going for quite a while. All my previous work however was on digital tape which is proving difficult to transfer to KZbin. Excellent filming. Very well done! The O2 is a little beauty. Is that hollow clattering noise the Westinghouse air tank recharging?

MarmiteCrumpets Dear MarmiteCrumpets, Thanks very much for taking the time to comment, I'm glad that you enjoyed the video. I expect that noise probably is the Westinghouse pump as that noise is imprinted in my head as my audio memory of the Isle of Wight railways. The O2 is a great loco to model, especially in 5" gauge, as the result is quite a good size loco but only having the work of building a 0-4-0 for complexity. I am just finalising the CAD/CAM drawings for ALL the platework for my O2. It's tagged so that it clipps together prior to silver soldering, so when they are finished, if anyone out there would like to build the O2 I can supply the files free to anyone who seriously wants to build one.
