Ok it's time for some oblivious tips Sniper: Use everything you can see as cover, and wait for close range combat. Don't try sniping him, it's risky af. Spotter: Do not underestimate him. He got battle rifle, and it is op. Just... Be careful, alright? Medic: Same thing, as with the sniper. His SMG can destroy you at middle and close range. Also, he's a number one in targeting priority . Gunner: Try destroying his vest and sniping him. He is deadly at close range and revving his gun rly fast... Commander: same thing, but he's less effective at mid range. Try being as far, as possible, so he won't stun you. Elites Operator: S N I P E T H E D R O N E then same, as commander. Drone is priority n1. Specialist: Try trapping him in corners, usually works Firebug: His fire is super deadly, stun him. Ghost: Usually attacks you right after drone murder. Shotguns and lmg are super effective against him. But you need to react super fast, so he won't stun him. Demo fucking man: Close range weapons will make him cry a lot.... But he can make YOU cry by destroying your little sade spot by grenade spam. Be careful! The best place to kill mercs now is lighthouse. Sorry for bad grammar, english isn't my first language

Sniping Sniper's pretty easy, really. I like to aim for him first when sitting on watchtower with scoped rifle; If you manage to bait his shot into the wooden roof, you can clap back within a 3-4 second window which is generous, as he doesn't fire faster than you can.

@@kitfisto1843 best item to snipe with is experimental vision as it's basically the new thermal vision whilst thermal vision has been nerfed significantly, but you can also use a ghillie and snipe them from level ground :)

Spotter and Medic are way more deadly than people usually give them credit for tbh If you're not careful enough Spotter leaves you with 5 health left in a second and from a pretty good distance too Medic just shreds you in cqc. Even at a slightly longer range, if he hits 3 out of his 10 shots he still left you with 40 hp

+1 more commander variant: Blind Commander I was doing TC with friends and I was at lighthouse, Commander came for no reason and was in front of lighthouse doing nothing. I jumped off and solo'd him with a revolver, he didn't shoot, almost didn't move, I was right next to him but he didn't even aimed.

Thats actually a very good strat for the mercs. They retreat, making you chase them, bait you out of your cosy spot, and kill you in the open areas.

I remember two of my friends were at the hangar while me and my other friend were in the lab. When we came back, only one of our guys was still there with the other dudes grub gun and a sub machine gun. We asked him what happened and he told us that the other guy wanted to attract stan and shot a flare, but it attracted ONLY THE MEDIC. Fortunately, the guy who survived killed the medic with the double barrel. We learned that our friend actually was killed by the medic and was not betrayed. We also learned that the Commander, Spotter, and Gunner were still alive because they came back to the hangar and caught us off guard. I still find it very odd that the medic left the group with the commander alive.

Surprised no one is talking about the "main character" commander. Me and my friends were doing a run at the elite mercs and got into a scrap with the regular mercs for obvious reasons, all of the other mercs were dead EXCEPT the commander, I shot my revolver at him in close range, somehow missed, and the commander squad wiped us. We were clearly side characters in that alternate universe of Isle.

The new medic has.... Explosives, apparently I got killed twice from medic being on top of mountain from me being at the airplane (the harbor with the watch tower next to it not normal airplane) and it's explosives dealt 50 DMG each Like wtf
