Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but it seems like Kenny Urban is the embodiment of Joe. From the way he's dressed, to his appearance on stage, he comes off as that sound in the back of your head that you never quite forget.

Little detail, the clock in the back says 3:30, a reference to their song Three-Thirty off The Click
@DeltaT4510 ай бұрын
Or maybe it’s a reference to 3 O’clock things because this is the type of stuff you think about at 3 AM
@Salintskate3609 ай бұрын
I think it's from the song 3:30 cause it's the normal time people usually get out of school

On the studio version he sings from 2:30 to 2:52. He wrote the song, though, and it is about his own experience.

It's him saying he basically worshipped him like how people worship God, you know? He thought he was so cool, and wanted to impress him. That's kinda what this whole song's about, wanting to impress this kid he thought was cool in 8th grade

Maybe I'll put out this song And I won't change your name at all Maybe then you'll call me up And you'll tell me how cool I got.
