@@CarAudioEnthusiasts you're welcome. the only thing i would add is that when using the face to face (or clam-shell) method you must wire one sub (usually the outside one) in reverse polarity.

Heard a few things about that configuration but never saw an example. Maybe my interest came along when there were better options. First sub in 2004.

yea it was a thing then, but most didnt know, the industry came along and sorted it out.
