Isola Blu Parfum by Roja Parfums review with Comparisons!!!

The notes list for Isola Blu reads like a tropical vacation, and with sparkling citrus and juicy fruits against salty ambergris, there's absolutely an island paradise here. But with complex aromatics and spice-laden florals giving the powerful and long-lasting citrus a major boost, this is more like a luxury superyacht anchored off the most exclusive private beach in the world- relaxed, but also rarified. Originally conceived as a men's scent, I can definitely still pick up that gentlemanly oakmoss in the base, but anyone who loves a slightly masculine-leaning freshie with unusual sophistication will find much to love with Isola Blu.

Very happy you did this. Been thinking about getting this for the summer. The comparison between this and Oligarch seems to be similar. Oligarch being discontinued, and this being the newer release. Oud Bleu Intense is a favorite of mine.

its essentially a re-branding of oligarch parfum instead of the EDP.. similar to what TF did with some of the private blends

I never really got my nose on oligarch. I think I smelled it in passing when I went out to LA and had a chance to go into the scent bar which was years ago, but this one here man I’m really impressed with the way it smells the longevity, the scent profile and how it develops and as well like I said in the video, the complement factor is one that really keeps me pulling for it.

For me, Clive Christian usually has better than moderate projection and good longevity. On this particular fragrance it’s one of the best in my opinion from that brand it projects for about 2 to 3 feet for about six hours and then it comes to be about a 1 foot radius around the body after that for the next four hours, so pretty good.

I never understood the comparisons to terre d'hermes. I think the closest comparison is that I may often wear them in similar situations. But olfactory wise I just don't smell it. I'm glad to own both in my boutique though.

Bro, I’m glad you concur because I just don’t get it. Certainly, it’s a good fragrance both of them are good and they both have a profile that goes off well in all occasions. I wear them both and plan on wearing them both but they don’t smell anything like each other to me. thumbs up family.

I hear you, Elysium can be an acquired taste very heavy in the citrus and then it kind of play smoother later in the wearing but if you can’t get past that citrus, it can come off like a cleaner so I understand Brother

Isola Blu, for me smells just like Basso from Sospiro... I have Basso and a sample of Isola Blu and I can't really tell the difference 🤷‍♂️ either way they are both a beautiful summer scent...

I just read another comment about the Basso. I think I’m gonna have to pull the trigger and get a sample pack of sospiro because I haven’t smelled the lines since Xerjoff sold it back to them. What else do you recommend getting from that brand?

Vibrato is very nice 👌 it's in a similar ilk as Basso, but I feel it's smoother and more intimate, perfect for a cozy, summery date night... Sorry I haven't had any sniffs of the rest.

Also Chris with vibrato you smell it all day easy to pick out the notes it’s transition etc… highly complimented fragrance but the wearing experience I get from it I enjoy that more than the compliments you WILL receive from it 💯💯💯💯
