Isolating vocals from a mix with RipX

Thank you for your honesty in this review. I purchased it about a month ago and I feel it takes entirely too much time for me to manually figure out all the instruments or layers it couldn't recognize and separate, mostly mid frequencies. Piano/keys gets lumped in with guitar or guitar lumped with brass etc. Much improvement is needed!

Something you should try is running the output through the ripper again to see if it can clean tracks up further. Seems likely to trim away the garbage that leaks into isolated vocals.

i can't transcribe anything manually by ear ! far too hard for me ! lol. so i pay professional musicians to actually transcribe guitar solos and piano solos for me automaticly on the fivree website. i get good deals there !

@@ryanmcdonald2027 I developed this skill by constantly writing my own material, and recording it and then mixing it. A few years of this trained my ears to single out individual sounds and along with learning some basic music theory, helped me to know what notes were being played and any I was not sure about, the theory helped to fill in those gaps.

Just 'add layer' and move unwanted stuff to that one, you can isolate it and mute it without destroying it.

RipX is cool. I am currently trying it and it works well for the most part. However it is not perfect. When ripping vocals the voice can sound tinny and drop in and out sometimes. Instrumentals come out pretty good. I would love to see what this program can do with further refinement.

I've been doing this, removing vocals for years (4 or 6 probably) now on a free AI website. Worked fine with two stems but I tried 5 once... he he, far, far from this but for my personal needs, it worked really nice. Thanks for the demo.

Is it possible to isolate a duet vocals from already mixed track? For example leave just the male voice then replace the female voice from other track?

I mean sometimes there are Vocals at the beginning of a song (Intro) that I don't want to be removed. RipX recognize a choir for example also as vocal and removes it.

My licence has expired and my memory is short but yes, you can remove vocals from part of the song, I'm pretty sure of that. As for what it recognises as vocals, that's variable. The trial version should answer your questions.

Confirmation bias rather is you see what you hope to see, you want your expectations to be confirmed, to come true. So in this case, you hope you can get the vocals separated, and wanting that so bad that any result will be better for you than for someone that has no interest in this separation or is rather neutral to the phenomenon.

if you have multiple vocal harmonies in a song like in beach boys 60's songs can you actually isolate seperate individual vocal harmonies and play them one by one on their own with this software ? i am a singer and i need to learn how to sing different vocal harmonies to my favourite songs and for me to do that i need to be able to isolate the backing vocal harmonies on their own one by one ? ( i am not talking about the original 60's song from the 60's ) BUT can this be done with a modern re recording of the song with today's technology ?

Is it possible to move rogue elements from one layer to another, rather than deleting them? I cant find a way that does not involve duplicating tracks which becomes time consuming / labor intensive with too many layers to manage. Also, can layers be combines / simplified?

it would be nice if someone was to release a professional looking fully working automatic music transcribing software for us beginners which automaticly transcribes lead guitar solos from audio files in to guitar tabs !!!!! then i could easily learn my favourite songs without having to do any "transcribing" by myself ! i could let the software and the computer take care of the transcribing for me ! will this be possible in the future ? i am desperate for this type of thing !!!!! if i can't get my paws on any decent automatic guitar solo tab transcription software then i am going to have to pay money to the musicians on the fivre website to actually get them to actually transcribe my favourite lead guitar solos into guitar tabs for me to download and print out and use . Don't neglect one of the best skills a musician can have, which is ear training coupled with some music theory, so you can recognise the solos and chords etc by knowing what they already sound like and how they are constructed.

If you're just trying to isolate tracks use Moises it's way cheaper and does the same thing.
