Footage from a quick battery and daily hike with the family. Saw this tree chute I wanted to see if I could get into. Hope everyone is staying safe.

Now that you are looking for a way to chill out more in your flying. You given any thought to trying Lithium Ion? If you can keep your amp draw down I have seen serious gains in flight time. I built a little 3in whoop type build. In 650mah 3s LiPo I was struggling to get more than 4min flight times but I was landing at 3.8v per cell. Moved over to some Lipos and got like 9minutes on a 2100mah 3s VTC4 pack I built. Went to 3000mah 3s with VTC6 cells and got over 13 minutes. That is landing at 3v per cell. 3s 18650 pack weight will wind up around 155 grams and be good for around 15 amps continuous with 20 to 25 amp burst(30-35 burst for the VTC6D 2800mah battery). If you are running 6s then you would be around 300g for 3000mah. But as voltage goes up amps would go down so you might be in a good spot. Building the packs is fairly simple. I have been on a lithium ion kick for the last like 6 months. It is nice knowing I can build my own batteries and still fly. Have used them for everything from 3inch to 13ich. Favorite rig right now is a 7inch Project 399 running a 6s2p pack that gives me 23min of flight time cruising at 40-45mph. 60% throttle cap so I wont draw more than 60 amps but if cruises at around 30-40% throttle and 14-19 amps(depends on cell voltage I land at 3v per cell). Pack weight is a bind blowing 645g but it is still over 100g lighter than a comparable capacity LIPO. My 13in uses two of the 7in packs for 12000mah and cruises at 55mph for 18 minutes. Came back in a wind the other day at 80mph from 1.5 miles out 3 feet off the ground the entire way.

Where the heck are you standing in that huge dive around 1:25?! I don't get how you can position yourself in such a way that you're not afraid of losing video / failsafe. Gorgeous video btw!

This is why i love FPV. I know you dont answer many youtube questions, but I am giving it a go anyways: You have started flying at the sim on 10 degrees lately. What are your angle in this video? To me it seems to fast for 10 degrees.
@mattystuntz4 жыл бұрын
Hey buddy, Im flying 30degrees and a 2.1 lenes. gives me a little faster forward flight. If its a freestyle edit or cinewhoop itll most likely be 10 degrees
