I noticed as well the symbolism of the poet's inability to answer Alexandor's desperate question that to the very end he was yet to get an answer for "how long will tomorrow last?", only to be answered by his wife "eternity and a day.". Which really amplified the importance of connecting with the ones you love rather than chasing answers in places where there's only more questions. Great review by the way.
