Guys another very easy method of finding DBE is to take its maximum hydrogen containing alkane and subtract the hydrogen (given) from alkane and divide by 2 For example : for dbe of c3h6 Max hydrogen for 3 c is in c3h8(propane) so 8-6=2 now divide this by 2 to get dbe sk dbe is 2/2=1

At 20:32 if we number chain from right side that is from side opposite to the methyl substituent we get 3-methyl but-2-ene which is different from the earlier question 2-methyl but-2-ene

I know it's very late to reply u .. We can't number the chain from right side because we have to give least no. to double bond as well as methyl substituent . Methyl substituent will get 3rd no. If we number the chain from right side but we can give it 2nd no. by counting from left side . Hence we can't number it from right side. I hope it will help others who have same doubt.😊
