My pandas love burying on the moist side. I keep mine quite damp, and they love it
@themantisgarden Жыл бұрын
I'm really not keen on them to be honest. They hide too much for my liking and they're quite a small species.

@themantisgarden I got them as my girls saw them and asked me to get them. They are cute, but you never see them

I can't remember where I got my first lot of them. I think it was another vendor friend that sent me some for some reason or other lol I wouldn't stock them if I hadn't got them free 😂

Great video dude and yes my panda King's do the same apart from one (not sure if its the same one)

Glad to hear it isn't just me. You're about the 4th person to agree about them constantly hiding. Sadly, the others didn't do it here and took to messages and facebook 😂 Thank you for your comments, and for watching!

I love flavomarginatus. They remind of me of little snuffling badgers. Adorable.

OH! Claus, I watch all his videos. Nice guy. He has a lot of different mantis and jumpers but he pretty much is going the short video route which doesn't always work out. I hope he does great though!

Afraid not, I'm more of an observer that is greatly interested in the subject and always want to know more if I can, which means I am now going to check your channel to see if you have anything on it that I don't already know!!! Thank you for watching :)

Ha i like the moo cows and the flavomargi dudes.. and the magic potions have acceptable yellows! Always whining about the weather though.. not enough sun, too much sun.. make up your mind dude. Great video, love your commentary 😉 And congrats with reaching 1k 🥳

Thank you Whippy :) I would get my British card taken off me if I didn't complain about the weather at least once per hour whilst drinking tea. It's hard to be here you know 😂

Good stuff simon. As i mentioned in our email convo, i seem to be the only person referring to them as "Porcellio sp. scaber tunisia pied" as they are a pied version of porcellio sp. scaber tunisia (isolated by mark titterton of isopods online). Most people will call them "dairy cow" or "moo cow" but i refuse to as it leads people to confuse them with the laevis dairy cow, which is understandable as they look very similar to the untrained eye. All the more reason to abolish common names if you ask me!
@themantisgarden Жыл бұрын
I actually asked around and you're not the only one that thinks that way. As soon as I suggested the genera and species you mentioned I got an "Oh yeah" response.
