Here's a theory In episode 77, I think Titan TV Man said "you can't kill the dead" which obviously means he is dead. But to be dead someone has to be alive first. Because non living things can't be considered dead, like rocks. So it makes sense that the Titans were once humans, and had their consciousness uploaded to some kind of computer. And the reason I say a computer is because a lot of cameramen experience death and then return later after being fixed.
