Sunehray Din, directed by Shoaib Mansoor, is a popular 90s drama serial that became an instant hit right after its first episode was aired.
The courage and valor of Pakistan’s Armed Forces cannot be defined in words, but what truly depicted these heroes from real-to-reel life were these famous military-based dramas.
It was produced in collaboration with the Pakistan Television (PTV).
The cast included new comers of the time, such as Saleem Sheikh, Kiran, Aliya Kazmi, Hameed Waine, Mumtaz Musharraf, Azra Mansoor and Malik Faraz.

The army officer who took the interview is our boss, Brig (rtd) Shahid Naeem Butt Sab. He passed away on last Friday due to heart attack. He was such a brilliant and kind soul. May his soul rest in eternal peace. Ameen

This took me back straight to 1991 when this drama was being broadcasted live on PTV and our whole family was watching it. After watching this again just now, I feel I've wasted almost 25 years of my life in the UK when we moved to join our father when I was a teen and my intention was to go back and apply to ISSB straight after doing my A'Levels but as the whole immediate family was settled here I did not do so and been here since then but I wish I had. Allah has blessed me with more than enough here in UK and Pak, laikin Apna mulk apna hota hay.

Thanks at last interview ensure me that the Pakistan Army never select someone on the basis of talent but on choice and favor. I knew it because I was rejected and was an eye witness how VIP candidates were preferred. However, it's my mother land's army and I love my soldiers. Also, this is my personal view and experience.

You didn't understand the view.. They select the person because of his physiology these questions reveals his physiology e.g he will panic on war time or not or is he a revolutionary person e.g he may not bring new ideas in Army which can effect its credibility
