Adesanya vs. Imavov is definitely intriguing. It's rare to see Izzy in a non-title fight, and honestly, if he loses here, it could be the end of his days as a serious contender. A third straight loss would likely shut the door on another title shot, and he’d have to start considering cash-out fights or even retirement options. Imavov is a solid fighter, but let’s face it; he’s not exactly elite. A prime Adesanya would walk through him without much trouble. If Izzy struggles or takes another loss, it’s hard to deny he’s in a serious downswing. This fight might be less about Imavov’s potential and more about whether Adesanya has anything left in the tank.

It’s so weird knowing Izzy is about to be on a fight night… I remember his early interviews he didn’t care what outlet it was he was there giving you the energy you wanted to see and all the sound bites. It sucks the game seems to have left him a little, I don’t want to say jaded, but like just over it. Hearing the same questions and trying to please everyone so they don’t twist your words over the years had to have been exhausting, on top of literally preparing your body and mind to go fight in front of the world.
