You know the funny thing is that Israel started martial arts 11years ago. And please don't tell me his 3 months of after school taekwondo program. But I digress. Everybody that he ever fought should have beaten him based on their resumes. Robert has 23years experience of martial arts. Robert started at age 4/5years old. Israel only has 11 years experience. Before he went into kickboxing, did an amateur MMA fight. By learning skills off of KZbin. They brought in his coach (Eugene) because they needed a 4th coach. His coach saw that fight and thought that it was horrible 😂. Adesanya immediately moved to Auckland and showed up at his coaches gym. And the coach didn't want Israel. He told Israel to try other gym(he was trying to get rid of him 😂). It was because at the age of 19. You have never done martial arts or fought professionally in your (Israel) life. So Israel said that he would be champion of the UFC. And even his coach thought that he was delusional. Until his wife saw Isreal fight and she told the coach that kid is good. Israel tried other gyms like his coach told him to. But he finally came back and the rest is history.

Bro that build up and journey in to the Calvin Gastelin fight had me in tears by the end of it. When you hugged your Mum and presented the Belt to Eugene and you guys hugged, the emotion that you took us on was something to be cherished. Thats not even mentioning that heroic battle of two top Gladiators displaying Heart Courage and Skills. Shout out to the production team as the music songs and beats were spot on for the occasion, it had so much wairua and feeling which enhanced those pinnacle moments. Much love from Whanganui Awa .
