All members of Israeli society must do some kind of National Service ! Its not fair that the ultra Religious do not contribute to the state , especially at a time like this ! I have just retured to England after working as a volunteer on a Kibbutz in the north. It was havest time , avocado's, oranges etc. Most days it was just me and my new Israeli friend working alone . Why especially in this time of need didnt these " students help to bring in the havest at least ?
