In the Negev desert, Bedouin minorities fear forced eviction. The Israeli state say that they have settled without planning permission. A project to extend a motorway threatens several unrecognised villages. Our correspondents Mohamed Farhat and Claire Duhamel met the families evicted from one of these villages.

The same is customary everywhere around the world. You could say it's less of an issue for the Bedouins as they are traditionally nomadic and their dwellings are of low value.

Low value? That's all their possessions. Might be low value for you but for them is everything they have. Those are their houses that they built, their school that they built, their mosque that they built. All their resources went into that little community. Where is your humanity?
