Israel Foils Hamas “Ambush,” Fears Pregnancies Among “Raped” Hostages | Gaza School Strike Kills 16

An alleged Israeli strike on a school sheltering displaced Palestinian families in Central Gaza killed several people on July 6. The Hamas-run Gaza health ministry said the attack on the school in Al-Nuseirat killed at least 16 people and wounded more than 50. The Israel Defence Force (IDF) confirmed carrying out an airstrike at a UN-run school in the central Gaza Strip that was being used as a “Hamas command centre”. Israeli soldiers claim to have located and demolished several tunnel shafts and booby traps while battling gunmen in Gaza City’s Shejaiya camp. A new television report on July 6, nine months after Hamas’ October 7 attack, revealed more details about the failures of Israel’s Military Intelligence. Israelis took to the streets on July 7 to mark nine months since the October 7 attack, burning tyres to block main highways across the country and holding memorials.
