BBC Arabic reporter Adnan Elbursh and his team kept broadcasting, unaware of what was about to happen.
The report, for presenter Mohamed Seif, came on Wednesday as the fighting between Israel and Palestinian militants continued to escalate.

I lived through war as a child. Please think about all the innocent people and children this is impacting. You people who take these decisions to destroy homes and lives, you have children too and I hope for your sake they never get to experience first-hand the sheer terror of war. There is clearly some missed information here... First of all, before Israel sends missiles to buildings they warn the people to get out. And secondly, you should be saying this to Hamas. Israel targets only those who try to harm it while Hamas targets civilians. innocent people wouldn't be dying if Hamas stopped hiding behind civilians, schools and hospitals.
