Israel-Gaza war: Boys witness father's murder in 'raw footage' screened by Israel of Hamas attack

Israel has released new footage taken from body cameras worn by Hamas fighters carrying out their attack on Israel just over two weeks ago.
It's also published documents it says were retrieved from the attackers -- one of which is described as an "abduction manual".
Sky News' security and defence editor, Deborah Haynes, was one of journalists invited to watch the 43-minute compilation of the bloodshed - which hasn't yet been independently verified.

Around 90% of deaths in modern conflicts are civilian. No army is developing tech or weapons to even attempt to reduce civilian casualties. I'm sure there are claims that tech like facial recognition was designed to do that, but in reality if the face they are after is in a group of civilians they won't hesitate to take out the lot. The notion that wars are a theatre of battle between two armies is all bull to get people to enlist and do their part, it's all about who can destroy the civilian population fastest. Some armies/militias take a more barbaric approach, while others try and use technology to keep their hands clean, but the end result is always the same. Real people left trying to pick up the pieces of their shattered lives. War shouldn't be this, that or the other, it just shouldn't be.

The Hamas want to be known as "Freedom Fighters"... however... the idea behind fighting for ones freedom is to go after 'hard' military targets of the oppressing force... not cowardly going after 'soft' defenseless civilian targets for political reasons. Both sides (to be fair) are murdering civilians en masse. I think it's better if Hamas voluntarily disbands itself and both sides agree to sit down to 1) find a peaceful resolution to the Palestinian/Israeli issue... 2) both sides incriminate terrorism and actively seek out all those with murderous intent, instead of talking the talk but looking the other way when a suicide bomber plys his/her trade.
