@@user58970 India recognised Israel in 1950 but established full diplomatic relations in 1993. India like most former colonies recognised Palestine and give importance to establishment of Palestine state. Because like us it was colony of British. India always supported independence for former colonies. We opposed apartheid in South Africa and Invasion of Korea and Iraq. It's not like we oppose Israel as country but We in principle support creation of Palestine state. You can even see old videos of Atal bihari bajpai where He says we oppose Israel's occupation of land of Palestine Arabs. Not everything is about you. Not everything about Hinduism. We don't fool world by supporting Palestine. We support them because We believe in independence of colonies. Neither Modi or anyone other PM will dilute their support for Palestine. Yeasir Arafat was very good friend of India. Like Saddam Hussein, west will not always support India like they're doing today. One day we will have to fight against them maybe not militarily but in trade commerce and technology. In Geopolitics friend are temporary, national interest is permanent.
