I believe that YeHoVaH is sovereign and every command He ever spoke is still valid and requires enforcing. When we read Genesis 33:51-55 and Joshua 13, we see that these commandments were not completed in that day and therefore Israel has suffered ever since. These commandments must be completed now for there to be true Peace in God’s Holy Land. After Israel purges the evil from their midst, then they can reopen Jerusalem for the faithful and true worshipers of YeHoVaH to flow up to the Temple Mount. Until all vestiges of idol worship and other gods are removed, there will be tribulations in the Holy Land, precisely because of these evils. Unfortunately for many, this includes much of the Catholic and Eastern Orthodox faith. The Holy Land must be Torah Observant…🙏

Shalom, the reference in Rev 16 to armageddon or har megiddo already took place during ww1 when the kings of the land (Entente powers vs Central powers) came together to fight for what would lead to the first step in restoration of Israel. The grammar shows it is not a sequential event as happening during bowl judgments but is a parenthetical phrase. This is yet another example of why the Bible must be read from historical, cultural, and grammatical context of when it was first written to its original intended audience. Catholic Christianity which today is Roman Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, and protestant churches have all since their beginnings been very antisemitic in their writings, doctrines, traditions, and practices, so the fact that churches today seem to be moving against Israel should only surprise the foolish. Saying to support Israel in every way is utter foolishness because the state of Israel is hardly doing the will of YHWH/Abba as can be seen in their actions regarding both their citizens and foreigners simply compare their laws to those of Torah is you think otherwise. A wiser teaching would be to only pray for Israel to come to know YHWH's/Abba's will and then do it. Otherwise simply supporting Israel in every way is akin to people and nations who supported the Northern Kingdom of Israel in every way, and that did not turn out good, even when the Southern Kingdom Judah tried to support the Northern Kingdom Israel it did not lead to either being blessed.

All I see in the Bible is the distinction of Paul talking about the "meeting of the Body of Christ with Jesus in the air" (RAPTURE) before the man of sin is revealed. And then Jesus's actual feet touching down at the Mt. of Olives to save the 1/3 remnant of Israel at ARMAGEDDON (SECOND COMING).

He destroys the antichrist with the brightness of his coming. It also says that when it’s time to get the mark of the beast that “if we’re possible even the very elect would be deceived”. Yes, we need to pray for Israel, and to support Israel in various ways. But how many people are praying for Israel to repent? And I’m not just talking about repentance for not accepting their Messiah. Of course we are told to pray for the peace of Israel. So I do include that prayer along with my other daily prayers. But what else does the Bible say? It says that if the Lord does not guard the city, the watchmen watch in vain. What causes the Lord to guard the city? Obedience to him. I am sorry, but the truth is that Israel, like the United States, and so many nations around the world, does not live in the state of obedience. Think about all the babies that have been killed in abortuaries. Where is the outcry for them, as with the victims of Hamas, when those babies have pain sensors, and are legally being ripped limb from limb or burned alive with saline solution in their mothers’ wombs? One of the first hostages to be released can be seen on KZbin saying that hostages were kept in darkness and treated like objects. That is terrible. And she may not have deserved that at all. But the sins of a nation can affect innocent people as well as the guilty. And unborn babies are treated as objects when they are killed even in later trimesters. This isn’t something to just be shrugged off. It is hard to say, but it is biblical to say, that so often we reap what we sow. In addition Israel is considered the world capital of the LGBT movement. Prostitution is legal in Israel and brothels are not at all uncommon. Mentioning such unpleasant topics may cause my post to be deleted. And that is sometimes what has happened actually, though not always. I hope that this will be seen. I’m only affirming what the Bible shows. That the Almighty hates all those kinds of things, and will punish a nation eventually who supports them. The day before October 7, the Supreme Court was set to decide whether or not Jews can can pray in the streets of Tel Aviv! I think the biggest prayer we can pray for Israel is for repentance. (Likewise for my nation of the USA, and other nations.) 2 Chronicles 7:14, “…if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” In the meantime, I’ve been praying for innocent people, for holy angels to help them in every way. Yes this includes any who are innocent who are being forced to be in the present horrible conditions in Gaza. And incidentally about 3500 years ago, through Moses in Deuteronomy 28, the history of Israel was prophesied with scary detail and accuracy. I have noticed that many soldiers, including others in Israel, have been turning to the Lord in desperation, sometimes for the first time in their lives. This, I believe, is another Torah supported reason why the Almighty allowed the tragedies to happen.
