when I was fresh from basic, we had a trauma dressing and a triangular bandage, that was it. we had no shears, no trauma blanket, no tourniquet... not even the team "doc" had much more (tq, shears and so but...) it was considered needless bulk/weight, wondering how many needless fatalities that caused.

I live in South Korea and have served in the mandatory military service, and I am currently in the Republic of Korea reserve army(ROKA). Sadly, ROK army is conscripted in principle, so the distribution of FAKs and protective equipments is too slow. Therefore, I am very interested in providing personal first aid kits, and I carry tourniquet, QuikClot gauze, Compact HyFin Vent, sanitary gloves, sheers, and some signal device like chemlight sticks in my iFAK in preparation for trauma and isolation caused by war and various disasters. I am very positive about Agilite's MD2 trauma kit. My existing pouch had to be fixed to the thigh through dropleg pouch/carrier due to the thickness and a deployment method of FAK pouch itself, but the MD2 trauma kit is expected to be able to be easily applied to the Ronin Warbelt that I use while maintaining the volume of my existing pouch. I believe MD2 trauma kit will be of great help in preparing for disasters and war I'm facing, and I would like to thank Agilite for coming up with it. Thank you.

Another killer piece of kit for the operator!! Proud to have been able to be a part of the T&E team once again for AGILITE once again. Still carrying the same old stuff I carried back in the day as I do now in my Ifak. Two way chest seals X 2 , Z- Fold Gauze, NPA pre lubed w extra pack, couple pairs black nitrile gloves, Occlusive Dressing X 2 , 2 Black Sharpies. One in IFAK one on PC, Couple Large Safety Pins, TCCC, Decomp Needle 10g & 14g , Flat Fold Duct Tape. It’s a lot for one small IFAK but rather have more than not enough and that’s just what’s in my battle belt IFAK. I still have my Ferro Concepts Roll 1 Trauma Pouch on my PC filled up with goodies for a primary.

PSA COVER YOUR TOURNIQUET. Every medical item should be contained, but most of the time TQs are not anf that causes 80% failure rate. Luckily I have no experuence with this. It's not a matter of making the TQ inaccessible, but my TQ comes in a little plastic wrap that definitely shows how abrassive my pockets are on it and that wear is usually on the TQ leading to failure. Protect your gear. I'm skeptical of those elastic sleeves. They're okay on the top of an IFAK on your belt like thisn but mostly Im refering to TQs under one danglers or the bottom of the plate bag and other forms of exposure like being crushed in a cargo pocket. My Gauze package ripped where I folded the corner and it wore out in my pocket Combat gauze is the number one thing I carry for medical EDC and is, therefore, my number one in an IFAK. Gauze has many more use cases and can be used on less major injuries. Tourniquet is only useful when you lose a limb in comparison. That niche is why that is my second medical item. Most individuals watching a video like this needs either a booboo kit somewhere nearby or I just carry a few alcohol wipes and bandaids in a zipper pocket. Not time essential, but still life-saving if you're out for a while. I carry my gauze and TQ in a pocket. People barely notice it, probably think the gauze is a wallet. My only problem is having so many individual items to switch in and out of bags/shorts/pants so I'm looking into a bellyband holster with plenty of pockets. It's like a concealed battle belt. Trying to find a bellyband with a holster and room for 7 items plus a holster and mag. Phone, wallet/cards, small flashlight, 1 oz sanitizer, gauze, smaller TQ (size of a glock mag), and a multitool (Leatherman Free P4), then small pistol and maybe an extra mag The best I can find is the Phlster Enigma with the sport belt in the back. It also looks like the only one with the pockets away from the holster so I can grab my debit card without flashing my weapon. Any products that might hold more than 3 items are appreciated

Aside from a laptop, I'm often carrying docs, a small trauma kit w/ TQ, water, and other EDC - some of which to remain concealed. More capacity and a plate option for the daily commute would be nice in a sling or just an EDC fanny pack for quick runs.
