Israel's new controversial law takes away Judiciary's Powers l Largest ever protests in 75 years!

The Israeli parliament passed a law stripping the Supreme Court of its power to block government decisions, the first part of a planned judicial overhaul that has sharply divided Israeli society and drawn fierce criticism from the White House.
The controversial bill passed by a vote of 64-0 in the Knesset. All members of the governing coalition voted in favor the bill, while all opposition lawmakers walked out of the chamber as the vote was taking place.

The first thing that should be banned in Indian judiciary is calling the judges 'lords'. The judges aren't lords like british colonial era. They have a habit of acting as if lords themselves. The delay in Indian judicial system should be reason for total judicial reform. In this country poor people die before getting date for hearing and some gets the court of Supreme court open even in saturday evening for bail hearing! Travesty!

Dude sochna nahi hai indian judicial system is colonial and need major reforms. We have been fighting in session court where they just keep postponing our hearing with no accountabilities and it is also fact there are judges whose families running courts. Needs merit based. For example current supreme court judge chandrchud has father we also had same position. There collegium system is outdated. It will be really helpful if there is limit to hearing period.
