The Gaza Strip is one of the most complicated, dense, and dangerous combat zones on earth. Hi Winston ~ Not sure if you already know this, but it was Yom Kippur - so most people were at home preparing for the Day of Atonement. Therefore, there was a much smaller military presence that day, and in some cases, only technology was used. The Israelis have tremendous technology, but humans are far more reliable and competent! It is somewhat surprising Israel wasn’t more guarded, knowing this year was the 50th anniversary of the Yom Kippur massacre. However, they have been signing “PEACE” agreements with the Islamic block, and have been trying to maintain a peaceful society….to the extent of inviting the children of Hamas and their families to obtain medical treatment within Israel. If they are a society bent on massacring their “enemy”…I think most wouldn’t mind being their enemy and receive such hospitality and kindness! Following Yom Kippur, a tremendous number of Israelis were prepared for a day in which they fly kites - directly across the border - as a demonstration of PEACE! I think Israel was hoping for a significant longer stint of peace in the region, even though, they had to prepare for the alternative. We all want to live our lives in peace…except those who are hell bent on eradicating us, simply because we don’t want to follow their fundamentalist doctrine contained within the Qu’ran, Hadith, and Sharia! For Israel’s sake, and for the purpose of global peace, I hope this war ends far sooner than anticipated! We can hope, even though the vast majority of us are realists, and still plan for the alternative! Cheers🇨🇦😊🇨🇦

the cost of the launch system is about 100 million dollars, and has a few missiles in it and is reausable. The missiles themselves cost 40-50k$ but Israel launches to interceptors at each missile so between 80-100k$ per interception
