Small fact: According to the Bible Samuel was a priest who made Saul as a king, after Saul died, David (the name David is Hebrew and it means the loved one) was chosen to be the next king of Israel. David was a simple shepherd with father Isai and his older brother Eliab, who was a soldier and fought against the Phillistines. David went to the city of Bethlehem and he saw Samuel and he anointed him. And you know what happen. Ruth is David's grandmother.

Well said, It is true and I agree that there are many holy cities in the world. India has been truly kind and protective of its Jews for centuries, however Jerusalem is dear to the Jewish faith because of the Temple Mount and its only capitol city built there first by King David. Worldwide when Jews pray they always face towards Jerusalem, this has been going on for thousands of years. Jerusalem is mentioned in the Hebrew Bible 669 times.
