Israeli human rights group B’Tselem reported “Since 1967 , Thousands of homes of Palestinians were demolished by Israel. This is part of war crime: The Fourth Geneva Convention prohibits the occupying state from destroying the property of civilians in occupied territory, ” Homes were usually demolished at night without residents being given any advance warning. The homes destroyed by security forces belonged to Palestinians who were not suspected of any involvement in causing harm to Israeli civilians or security forces. They were given no opportunity to plead their case before any instance and received no compensation for the damage they sustained. This policy of collective punishment inflicted lasting harm on thousands of people. This policy constitutes collective punishment, which is prohibited and violates binding provisions of international law.

Hezbollah has now confirmed Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah's assassination. Contrary to what many may be hoping, this is not the end of armed resistance to Israel. In fact the war has now moved into its most dangerous phase, for Israel and US allies and US troops in the region. Nasrallah was an effective military and political leader who successfully drove out Israeli occupiers after nearly 20 years. Then in 2006, he blocked Israel from its ambition to re-occupy southern Lebanon. However, Nasrallah was also a moderating influence. For one thing, he's been holding back retaliations against the 40,000+ American troops in the region for nearly a year. People talk about the "Iran-backed proxies" as if they all take their direction directly from Tehran, but they all have their own arsenals, their own interests and those interests sometimes override what Tehran wants. To the extent Tehran had any "leash" on the other militant groups, Nasrallah was that leash. When he spoke, they listened. Now all bets are off.

@@DarkenedOne55... Just because it wasn't happening under him doesn't mean his actions as President didn't make this worse. The Abraham Accords were one of the main reasons why October 7th and by extension all this other crap happened, that was Trump's middle East peace plan...

Ryan Grim is single-handedly carrying all the weight at Breaking Points. Clearly, the other staff members and spin off shows rely on Ryan for nearly all of their useful and relevant content.

Breaking points has become the laziest source of news. Krystal and Sagar hired Ryan and Emily so they don’t have to work as much. Days go by without updates to important ongoing news stories. I can’t stand some of the takes that Ryan has on some topics, he is pretty much woke. Used to be a supporter, not anymore

Sorry cannot follow you anymore. I watched your channel because I thought it was unbiased journalism , one conservative and one liberal. Just saw Krystal’s attack on RFK Jr from a year ago. She makes accusations, talks over him and won’t let him speak. It was absolutely deplorable, she makes general statements with no facts or research. What is the point of interviewing a guest when you won’t let the person speak. Good riddance!

Breaking Point had been telling us how Israel should be doing targeted strikes (quoting Jocko Willink etc) instead of urban warfare and now can't wait for the main show to spin it again and tell us how targeted strikes are actually evil 🤣
@thenutella8846Ай бұрын
So your idea of a target strike include entire neighborhood blocks as collateral despite being shown by Israel themselves that they have bombs that are more precise with smaller blast ranges? Oh yeah, how on earth will they "spin this"?
