@@mikemike3514 if I understand correctly, to be Jewish is your heritage and bloodline. To be Christian is to be born again of spirit. Many Messianic Jews that I have listened to that accept Yeshua have been stripped of their Jewish identity but felt as if they were being robbed of that identity as a type of punishment or shaming among the orthodox Jewish community. I believe they can both keep their Jewish identity and roots but simply become complete in Messiah. I envy them really. They are raised according to the customs and have so much tradition that gentiles do not have many times. I love to explore the Jewish history and learn of these ways.
