😢 Thanks for your always great analysis and perspective, brother in Christ, Eric. I have always wondered why Turkey ever became a member of NATO. I served in the Canadian military in the late seventies when NATO meant something. It's North Atlantic Treaty Organization, not Eastern Mediterranean blaa blaa... they seriously need to define who they are ... if they want a Mediterranean or Middle East Treaty Organization then do it but don't drag us into Middle East wars. Just support Israel and be done with it.

Turks took place in the Korean war, controls the two straights and have today immense geopolitic power and weight in the Balkans, in the Middle East, in Afrika, in the Caucasus and in Central Asia. I am from Illinois and live in Arkansas now. I have been here since 1993. We are supposed to get up to nine inches of snow. Here's the difference: Illinois has many snow plows; they use salt and melting solutions on the overpasses and bridges. Arkansas does not have any of that. There's no one to clear our parking lot of the Apartments where I live. But, I DO know what you're talking about. The "second" they hear snow in the forecast ---- they will go to the store and buy out all the eggs, bread, milk and possibly even toilet paper. It could be just one inch of snow in the forecast. They will still go to the stores ---- and they close businesses down. When I first moved to Arkansas I had a sweet lady say to me: "Yes, you know how to drive in snow and ice. It's the other people here that do not know how to drive on snow and ice you need to worry about." She would be 100% Correct.

Turkey is one of the most active Nato partners around the globe, just because they dont like what Israel is doing doesnt diminish that. I am talkting abount boots on the ground not some political statemenents from politicians. So lets be fair. That being said, i hope there will be no conflict with Israel, it would be a lose lose situation for both countries.
