Israeli forces hiding in Gaza buildings were bombed by Palestinian fighters from Al-Quds Brigades while the IDF claimed that 50 gunmen were killed in the operations in Eastern Rafah which was cleared of civilians earlier this week. I think you will find that all Israeli troops previously stationed in Gaza, were withdrawn after Hamas were elected in 2005 - that was the point of the election - to provide Gaza with their own administrative set-up, their own Government. Went well, didn't it?! The first thig Hamas did was slaughter all "Fatah" members they could find. (They were their main opposition in the 2005 election and used to run the so-called "West Bank"). Fatah still have control of the so-called "West Bank". In my view, the attack on 7/10/23 would not have succeeded or even started, if Israeli soldiers had been in Gaza....it is logical that any "occupying force" would have seen what was going on and nipped it in the bud.
