Great song. What a voice. Deserves to win. You stopped it a little too soon. You missed a wonderful finale sung acapella. Also has poetic lyrics inspired by Greek folk song motifs with ships, birds, the sea. Since I'm Greek I'll translate. ​@@evelyneliaz No, there are specific folk songs called ''moirologia'' for funerals. This song is composed similarly to many old greek folk songs that speak of immigration or refugees. They are called ''songs of xenitia'' the word ''xenitia'' means foreign place and derives from the word ''xenos'' meaning foreigner. The lyrics to this song can be interpreted in two ways: 1.As someone immigrating. Because impoverished Greeks usually immigrated overseas leaving their villages for faraway places they never knew if they would survive the journey or if they would ever return to be seen again by their familly. That's why the lyrics '' My sweet mother don't you cry even if they dress you in black". And thats why the imagery of ships with sails, the sea and swallows that return. 2.As a refugee song Specifically a Greek refugee folk song from the Greeks from Asia Minor (now Turkey).These people became refugees from 1921-1923 after the Greek Turkish war after WW1 and there was a population exchange with Turkey uprooting them from their ancestral homes. That's why the song says (''The roots of their homeland they never forget'') . The music motif, way of singing and certain specific words like αστεροματα (starry eyed girl) and τζιβαερι(precious gem) are specific to this region. Now before one is quick to judge this second interpretation as political it isn't. Klavdia is a descendant of such a refugee family. Her grandmother whom she is very close to (who is also named Klavdia) comes from Pontos, a region of now northern Turkey. Dreaming of a better life, yearning to return to a home and wanting to be loved and feel safe is universal for all humans. I wish for love between nations. lots of love to everyone.🥰

μετά από μέρες δεν με ανατριχιάζει. Θα προτιμούσα τον Κώστα Αγέρη αλλά με Αγγλοελληνικούς στίχους και διορθωση στο τραγούδι , δηλαδή από την εισαγωγή του τραγουδιού μέχρι το ρεφρέν αργεί να μπει . Αν δεν αργούσε θα ηταν το ΤΕΛΕΙΟ ΤΡΑΓΟΥΔΙ .
