Issac ‘Bully’ Luke is arguably one of the most liked and well-respected players in the modern era at the South Sydney Rabbitohs.

Bully was ferocious in both attack and defence and his running game from dummy-half revolutionised the way the Rabbitohs played, providing that ‘flat and fast’ spark that worked so well leading up to the 2014 Premiership.
While Luke was ineligible to play that Grand Final, his impact on the team that year was tremendous and he helped develop the games of Api Koroisau and Cameron McInnes who were early on in their careers.
Issac Luke was the ultimate competitor at Souths and never took a backward step; often going toe-to-toe with players far bigger than him.
Because Bully’s running game was so dangerous, his defence was often overlooked but there was no Hooker in the competition who could hit like him. Most dummy-halves are known for making plenty of tackles around the legs but Luke tried to flatten anyone who ran at him.
A fan favourite, Issac Luke gave his heart and soul to the red and green and is a worthy nominee for Hooker in the Menulog Team of the Decade.
