Keep 1/4th portion of the soaked chana dal separately (don't grind them)and mix them with the grinded paste. It will give the pakodas crunch. Also try adding fresh mint leaves and saunf. Try it. It will take the pakodas to another level

Custard apple is called sharifa at my home as my dada dadi are from up, but here in Kolkata it is called seetaphal. Earlier i use to eat custard apple with hand but did not like touching the slippery pulp. So later i started using a spoon, it easily scoops out how much pulp u want. Now my 3 year old daughter even eats it with a spoon without making a mess. I sometimes give her half custard apple with a spoon in her tiffin also, as she is in Montessori. One more thing whenever u all eat on the floor try using a table cloth to keep the plates. All of you are walking on the floor n then keeping the plates dirctly on the same floor may cause easy germ infestation.
