​Pistols are not allowed outside of the front door / arena, this is a sport. It's not possible to own a pistol outside of these arenas, in an ideal world, w/ weak govt. so the 2nd amendment isn't necessary ~ (cont.) .. and in nation states with a very small government, or none, then the 2nd amendment isn't necessary, & pistols thus become an aesthetic tech., & rapid precision sport only ~ Edit - For example, if Okinawa became in independent nation-state, with zero tax & no government, then of course it would be safer & more humane to have no pistols / no weapons there. They would also need to take measures to keep crime rates nearly non-existent, such as a very cooperative society which doesn't have internal conflicts. After establishing that, they could have a private police agency which deals with rare crimes, and citizens pay a fee towards that 'company'.
