What to learn from this video as a referee - urgency when there is an injury is extremely important to show players that you actually care. Most of the refs in this video just walk on over to the player after like 10 seconds, shows a lack of care for the safety of the players. The second point is that red cards are not scary, and often warranted. Courageous referees who give red cards when necessary command respect for the rest of the game as the players are aware of the consequences for their actions.
@neilwhitaker6284 Жыл бұрын
thumbs up! Just add a ref that is not afraid to give a yellow early in the match and set the tone if things are getting tense early on. Weak refs allow it to continue and it usually only gets worse. I felt with many of these in this video things were probably building up to these.

The guy at 2:10 Just ran into his elbow. It looks like it anyway. Also at 5:22. How was he sent off for doing a bicycle kick

2:10 in these kinds of leagues this is actually how you should play....to protect yourself.

I'm guessing that you haven't watched any British Sunday league football.

Goddamn the American clips always make me feel ill. Rough tackles are one thing and they're global. The childish and overly dramatic way the Yanks get down on a football pitch is super weird to me. Mirrors their country, I get it, but I'd hate to play there.

Challenge at 16:50 is exceptional. Won the ball. I cannot believe people are saying thats a red. Thats coming from a qualified ref and ex semi pro footballer.

idk if anyone else agrees with me on this one but the hit at 2:11 wasn't really that bad, like I get it wasn't clan by any means but it was more just bad timing then him trying to injure the guy but idrk that's just how I saw it
