The Turkish people are so amazingly kind towards children, aren't they? We went with my nephew and he was absolutely laden down with little trinkets and gifts from shopkeepers, and street food sellers would give him massive/free portions. He still often talks about how wonderful that holiday was, and we all can't wait to go back. Loved the video.

Hey there, you are fantastic as a whole family, very cute. I hope you enjoy your stay. I give you one advise: when you are experiencing Turkish food, I wouldnt taste them from random places. For every food you taste, there is a few place where they are mastered and famous. For example; research for the best kokoreç place or best döner place and go there. Info is easy to find. I can bet that eating a food in a place famous for it can double or quadraple your tasting experience. And if you have time, don't limit yourself with just İstanbul, Turkey has many many more to offer.

This reminds me a lot of my childhood, my family went on a vacation in Turkey for almost a month and we would eat street foods like you guys did, one day we'd eat kokoreç, and one day we'd eat köfte. If you visit İstanbul again , you should eat "izmir style kokoreç ". There is no domatoe , fresh pepper... just kokoreç and some spices inside the bread. It is more delicious than other one.
