Nothing to add: this band engages me and blows my mind, resides inside me with the absolute need to communicate how much I love the music they make to the whole world. Another amazing song!

Simply. Awesome. A complete wall of sound. Chilling voice. Bleak. But strangely uplifting.

The band is often compared to JD, The Sound, and even noughties post-punk revivalists like Interpol, Editors, She Wants Revenge and White Lies and that's all very true, but this one sounds like New Gold Dream era Simple Minds. And that's no bad thing.

JD was _not _ the early 80s band I was thinking of. Even if the atmospheric synth sounds remind of some JD tracks. Your SM reference is spot on, though, it's like being back in postpunk era all over again, also Comsat Angels or Echo & Bunnymen I'm hearing

Go see them live, and buy 'Architecture'. Both are well worth the money, and these guys put on an excellent show. 🙂 New convert.

This is a masterpiece! I'm also loving the Nietzsche references in the video - fits the song perfectly. Reminds me of Joy Division with a hint of Depeche Mode. I can't praise the song highly enough - the video is great art too. The references to "extreme greed" in an age of Corporate Capitalism rings true, a society in which individuals are turned into appendages of the Machine. This video encapsulates this contradiction between modernity and a longing for a return to something more authentic and natural. And in Neitzsche you have that individual spirit fighting back against the constraining conformity of bourgeois convention. Or maybe I'm just stoned. 😆 Tune though!

One of the finest gloomrock indie band, despite comparisons with Joy Division, Interpol and Editors implying that they are a ripoff.
