My early memory of this song was from the 80s sitcom “out of this world” about the half-alien teenager who could freeze time.

Remember this song from my childhood watching old cartoons in the car with my three siblings. We'd drive to Chicago to spend Christmas with my 30 something Italian-Irish family members at my Grandma's house. Its a 12 hour car ride, but stuff like this made it comfy, especially if it snowed along the way. I'm in my first year of college now. We still drive up every year, but I miss my siblings n parents, I don't see em as often. Thanks for the song and nostalgia man, your voice is great as always. Definitely gonna put that video on next car ride.

Mr Isto, you have the best voice of anyone in our era, I do believe, at least when it comes to singing the great American popular songs. "Swingin' On A Star" is a great song, a favorite of mine from that period, but Hugh Martin, the writer of "The Trolley Song," always believed he should have won the Oscar for Best Song that year, instead of "Swingin' On A Star." "The Trolley Song" is essentially a woman's song, but with a little change of wording, could be made a man's song. I'd like to hear you cover that one sometime! But whatever you do, that voice of yours remains a treasure, and always a delight to hear.

Thanks! I will have to do a version of "The Trolley Song" someday. I've never performed that one before, but it would be a fun one to play.
