Well idk bout this guy. Why would you cauterise that? It seems that would make it much harder to get out. I was a nurse for 15yrs and it just doesn't make sense to me. A small cut wit a scalpel is all he needed. I've watched several of his videos n let's just say BRUTAL BUTCHERY!

Well, I have never seen such an awkward way of removing a little blackhead! You need to watch all the experts like Josepha Reiner, Anilsa Brown and Dr Lee, 3 of my favourites!

Dr Lee is the only physician in your little group. I like the other ladies, but they are estheticians aren't they? I really don't know about Josepha and her scope of practice since she practices in another Country.I know Enilsa can't excise a cyst.

@@sharonbeckett721- I watch her videos. I enjoy watching different approaches. I don't have any favorites. I'm used to working with different surgeons and their individual methods. I learned way back that each patient and their surgery are completely individualized. It's impossible for anyone to say one doc can do this individual patient "better", "quicker," etc. I'm not fussing at you. Some people are downright rude and the majority don't know what they're talking about. No one has to like any particular approach. It's funny that many of their complaints and criticisms have been explained by the nurses!

After freezing, this cyst should have been cut, NOT CAUTERIZED. This poor patient should have had a better removal than this. The entire cyst was not removed. This is a 'butcher' job and the person doing this procedure definitely NEEDS more education before working on anyone else.

Every time I see this tool used to open a cyst, it’s a real struggle to get the contents out. I think this tool uses heat to open and cauterise the wound at the same time, but it seems to prevent the contents from coming out. A small cut with a scalpel seems to work so much better.

I don't agree with anyo one doctor or amateurs way of doing things just because of a name. There are some things with doctor Lee which that I like and others that are too repetitive. I look at all kinds of different videos and different techniques Etc. I think I just like watching pinched and pulled on. Either way, I really did think that cauterization was used to make something actually heal immediately rather than cut or whatever you want to call it. Hope your day is blessed, cheers.

False. You burn it and that will help minimize capillary bleeding but a hole is a hole even if the edges don’t bleed. Cautery is used for incision in many procedures, and the smoke smell is really hard to get used to.

@@Ronin.Samurai what facts? Because he used a bovie to make the initial incision instead of a scalpel? There are studies out now that determined this can have benefits. Less bleeding, naturally. Other results were faster healing of the incision and a smaller, nicer looking scar. Yes, this is different from what most of us are used to seeing. Medicine evolves. Our treatments change as new studies come out. Years ago we shaved right before surgery. Now there are studies showing that packing a wound isn't always recommended. Just because he operates differently doesn't necessarily mean he's wrong, or an imposter.
