What is the difference between defect report and incident report (at least for foundation level istqb)? Could you please give an example? Thank you very much in advance!

Hi Irina There is no difference. It's a Jargon that we use - Explanation - When a tester reports a Defect it's not mandatory that its always a valid one. So the terminology INCIDENT represents a NEW deviation reported by Tester which, if found valid, will be declared as DEFECT or else will be closed.
