@@jonathanbethards3689 seeing those videos, too many of them are there to hurt others. It is concerning and I speculate that those football games are from amateur leagues in Canada and USA, where the influence of American Football on subconscious level might play the part. I play regularly amateur football at quite decent level and we almost never have such blatant, mindless fouls. We play tough, there are fouls, but not that level of violence. Or we know that we are amateurs miles away from even semi professional players and we don't pretend that we are? watching football in TV and thinking I can do that? Not knowing their skills and physical limitations? Maybe it comes to the football culture? Like you know when to slide, when and how correctly body check, how to tackle without sliding. Lots of fouls looks like somebody closed his eyes and just went for it (typical to players who started playing recently or even in their adulthood..). btw. noticed that in many videos referees are too soft, so often for horrible foul for straight red, there is a yellow. @@neilwhitaker6284 'What you are proposing is that the defender just has to allow the attacker to run with the ball wherever he likes which is preposterous.' - what you are saying is preposterous! You cannot foul someone without a ball! For example you cannot suddenly just pull someone's shirt on the other side of the field, where there is no ball or suddenly kick somebody just for the sake of it. And that what you are basically saying. You can put yourself in the line of attacker run (on his path), you can put yourself between the ball and opponent (as best defenders do), but to certain degree - if you do it in the way that opponent has no time to change his path - this is a foul. And if you extend your leg the way that guy did - this is no brainier, blatant, mean foul. btw. a lot of fouls from those videos come from not understanding the concept of 'foul without a ball' or pretending not to understand it. Observation - maybe the reason is that for some football is a new game - I grew up playing football and even now still playing with friends (fair but tough), we know what is foul what is not, we can argue, but some blatant fouls like that - this is straight red and zero discussion. 0:37 How can he possibly be mad at that call? It was an obvious foul and denial of a goal scoring opportunity.

I saw this clip when it was originally posted. I totally disagree with your assessment. The keeper came out, reached out and cleanly played the ball in a normal manner. The attacker then tripped over the keepers leg. Any player is entitled to play that ball.

@@grumpyref I can see that. I think he was a touch late personally. Either way a tough call to make for a referee in real time without the benefit of replays.

@TheRealSwissball I mostly agree with you, but at this level, we expect the referee to be moving into a position to get a good look. He is not far away and there should be nothing blocking his view. We should expect a bit better. What happened afterward is a different discussion

You joking, right? or trolling? Straight red, cannot be more obvious foul and red for that situation (dribbling into the open goal). Goalie is an idiot to complain. S*it, you make sometimes stupid fouls that cost you red, but take like footballer (if you truly understand the game).

The goalie that threw his glove, was that a foul?
@andylowe1515 Жыл бұрын
Nope, great tackle and terrible reffing. That being said once he threw his gloves at him his game was done

Kung Fu soccer. Why don't go to boxing stage together and start the flight to each other every week, just go to flight directly.
