That actually wasn't the heli dropping spikes, the koenigsegg dropped spikes and then hit a civilian car causing the 2nd spike strip to slide into and wreck himself (this explains why we see a full deployed spike strip since they usually disappear upon being hit)

Well M3 appeared first in Rockport, but in the Driver's homecoming to Palmont he drove the M3, where Sgt. Cross chasing him as bounty hunter and the driver, only known in Carbon with the name of Brian, crashed in a truck with pipes, wrecking the M3, Darius got the car, in beta he'll use the M3, thats why appear the M3 with red and black as a Stacked Deck car(I preffer call it "Devil M3" or "Dark M3"), but in the end he sold it and imported to Palm City illegaly, so in NFS the M3 started in Rockport and ended in Palm.

But this logic I really don't understand it how the GTR got totalled just by simply reversing straight into the bumper. @@ActiveFire533 The world is already closed and fully made, all the events are just a variation of parameters like start line and finish line, type of event, etc... The best approach would be that of user generated events where users can make new events by tweaking these parameters, although I'm not 100% sure, I think that the biggest issue is that the existing events cop and racer A.I is scripted for each event, like I noticed that everytime I would start, say, a hot pursuit, the cops and racers would follow the same path programmed for that specific event, like cops deploy roadblocks at these exact places, or cops start using EMP at a pre-defined area and time, and racers would follow the same exact path from start to finish. All what the A.I can do is try to correct course back to it's scripting when it's disrupted by the player. and I think that's why in Free Roam, you're all alone.
