Isuzu NPR build, 4HE1 cold start

Starting my build on this 1999 isuzu npr, going to get this 4 cylinder making some power.

I did a rebuild but afraid to install because the aftermarket pistons didn't have oil ports. Any thoughts ,the new piston heads have indentations holes but not open like original pistons?

Turned up the pump? I've been told I have to use a computer to do so on a1999 nqr with the 4he1 tc engine, how did you turn yours up

Hi . I need your help . I have a truck like that , it only has 90000 miles. It works fine but if I press the gas pedal it works terrible like the engine wants to explode like detonation and when driving it doesn’t have power it can go 60-65 but trembling and sounds weird It doesn’t sound like yours when accelerating. Please help me what should I do

Randy, what do the vacuum actuators on the pump do? I'm having a crank no start problem.

They are for idel adjustment and Altitude adjustment, but those wouldn't cause a no start condition unless they have been messed with sorry for the late reply

@@randylewis3100 Yeah thought so. I confirmed pump plungers are going up & down but I'm afraid the rack must be stuck & they're not rotating. Damn.
