The end is so tricky. It’s all about giving everyone time & distracting to get everyone out the door. Light break - Chris runs out Save Mike - Ashley runs out Hide - Emily gets out Hide again - Mike gets out Then run for switch - Sam out

Honestly really really impressive playthrough, like you found so many things (I mean as for survival the ending was rough XD, you gotta do it 1 dont move at a time until everyone is out) As for missed clues, biggest one is I think when the psycho caught Sam. Otherwise she sees a buncha clues, which allow you to find out Josh is the Psycho earlier: some texts from Dr. Hill (the real one, not the one we know of who's been imagined by Josh) where he's concerned about Josh and asks him to go see him, but Josh doesn't want to, there's also the plans for the saw trick, with the head through the wall, and theres also a recording where Josh starts talking as the psycho, but then is like "nah, that aint it" (not word for word) in his normal voice. Also 2 small clues you missed both the strangers journal and Hannahs diary (in the dollhouse) you open on page 2, so you have to flip a page backwards to see first page. I... Dont really thinks theres much in the strangers journal, but Hannahs diary does talk about how Josh was released from hospital, indicating he was struggling with mental health prior to his sisters. Lastly the events of the past, i mean you got most of it, and the Makkapitew was indeed the strongest of all the others, cause hes an OG. And the feathers from his head are like the native american chiefs or whatever that have such fearhers, so he's kicking from all the way back then. The stranger killed him when Hannah and Beth fell and the spirit went and clinged on Hannah. Thats why she was casually 1v2-ing the other wendigos, cause shes got the Makkapitew spirit inside her.

1:23 I have played Silent Hill 2 remake! The game got released just in time for spooky season and it was such an amazing experience. I hope you guys get to play it too sometime soon. I feel like you guys enjoy lore heavy games and I enjoy your style of gameplay so it might be a great playthrough for the channel. Great playthrough of until dawn btw!!❤️

Don't know if anybody told you but I kept seeing you try to see if anything would appear on tv, and it does I think pretty early in game before the Wendigo stuff I think during the Psycho early appearances when roaming in cabin maybe as Chris and Ash, if you keep pressing the tv a jumpscare appears

Fun fact: Josh can actually be saved from death and from becoming a wendigo (unfortunately not in the original). In the Remake, Josh, instead of becoming a wendigo, manages to survive in the mines without losing his mind and resorting to eating the strangers head and is found by the authorities, giving him a chance at redemption. I dunno how u save him exactly, maybe u do all the same things u did for Josh throughout the game in the remake.

Great play through! But maaannnn I saw the title and kinda predicted your ending…i was screaming at the screen to save mike. They showed you all the characters still in the house as a hint to save them. It’s exactly as you said if you stalled enough time you could get everyone out. I thought you guys would get it bc of the totem and was hoping the title was wrong 🤦🏾‍♀️ I think the end is supposed to be tough though. Like they want you to see that all your hard work keeping them alive can be for nothing if you dont stay still and your aren’t patient

Lol Joshs revenge makes no sense. Its like ah the girl who thought of the prank (Jess) and the guy who played a main role (Mike), yeah they dont need to be pranked they can go have fun in the guest cabin guess I'll put a jumpscare in a tractor on the way, thats good. Oh the guy who filmed (Matt) and another girl who was encouriging it (Em) yeah I'll... Like lock the gate behind them (the gate for the 1 meter high wall XD) and leave them an axe stuck in a door. But you know who deserves true vengeance, and true horror, yeah the girl who tried to stop it all (Sam) the guy who was passed out drink and had 0 to do with the prank (Chris) and i mean yeah ok Ash did join in on the prank. But like the guys with the biggest parts got the smallest pranks and visa versa. Also Chris makes 0 sence when we find the doll house "thats exactly where we were, waiting for Hannah" like nah, you werent there waiting for Hannah you were passed out drunk, and again how do you know since you werent even there. And later he's like "so you're basically saying we put a vulnarable friend in *whatever* situation" like nah mate you had no part in that.

Yeah, if Mike dies due to the player choosing to go for the switch, it considers it "the movement", the first "dont move" once Mike plans the fire is caused by Sam moving backwards, as if trying to head towards the door, then Mike breaks the bulb and that calls attention to him, so if he dies at any moment after that, then the game takes that specific point, the time that Sam moved. And tbf it is a stressful, the most stressful part, but it kind of is obvious, one thing happens, Chris leaves, Mike plans the fire, and that is kind of obvious that will burn the place down, and they were standing there because they didn't want to make noise, they were slowly moving towards the door, if everyone starts running, then they all die because the Wendigos stop fighting each other and start a'munchin' lol But yeah, it is stressful ofc and make the player make rash decisions.

This was a great playthrough! I think you did a fantastic job. I had a feeling we'd lose some characters when I saw that title hahah. That ending sequence is a tad confusing for players sometimes, so don't feel too bad about it. You probably know this by now, but the idea is to wait and keep the Wendigos distracted until each character (closest to the door) gets out of the lodge, and then go for the switch. Really tho, you did incredibly well to keep everyone (bar Matt who's the hardest to keep alive) alive until the last sequence. Also, you had great instincts throughout; investigating the voice as Ashley would've gotten her killed, trying to run as Jess would've gotten her killed, etc. Plus, excellent job with the QTEs as well, and misclick Rick did not make a cameo in this playthrough 🤪 I would urge you guys to watch the end credits with the other characters as well (tho their dialogues depend on the choices the player makes), as well as the new ending in the remake in your own time, which you might do as you're editing someone else's playthrough. Last but not least, we may have lost a few folks, BUT WE SAVED WOLFIE! NOTHING ELSE REALLY MATTERS 🐾❤️ This was an immensely enjoyable playthrough, and as always, loved hearing your thoughts and jokes throughout

I hope you dont beat yourself up for it even though you got my favorite character killed which is emily 😭 Choice based games can make us think one thing but it leads to a different outcome that we expected to go. Overall, this was really fun to watch!!! I always enjoy watching you both play choice based games because i love hearing both of your thoughts on these types of games :)

Man, that was so painful to see, you were doing really well too. If you keep Sam from getting caught, she finds a lot of clues about what is going on with Josh. Basically, Mike and Sam find the most significant clues. As far as the remake is concerned if you guys are curious there is a good side by side on ElAnalistaDeBits channel, no commentary just a comparison. My 2 cents is the main issue is soundtrack related. Apparently, none of the original soundtrack was licensed for the remake. This really effected the background music in sections the game.

1:25 I don't think I've seen a single horror thing this month lol I have been quite busy and when I get some free time, I find it easier to destress by watching stuff on KZbin rather than immersing myself in a movie or a show Though I suppose I did watch two playthroughs for Silent Hill 2 Remake. And I started playing Silent Hill 3. Haven't gotten far in it. And then I got distracted by re-playing Max Payne 1 again lol. That game does have some unsettling, spooky moments, so I guess that counts lol Edit: just remembered that I also played the final Alan Wake II DLC: The Lake House. That was pretty spooky!! Good stuff. That game is finally done. 2 playthroughs of the main campaign (first + NG+), 2 DLCs.

Awesome play-through, way worth the membership again 🙌 With the Matt death you need to disagree with Emily about going to the Fire Tower, then after Emily gives him the flare gun, Matt won’t fire the flare gun, because he doesn’t believe in Emily’s plan to get help there, so he just keeps the flare gun on him and you would have gotten the option to shoot the Wendigo with a QTE. I also got Matt killed the first time😂 It’s bs, but in hindsight it makes sense, it’s just that the player (us) is obviously going to agree with Emily cause it makes sense, the radio. And then 'Save Emily' makes it sound like she’s going to die if you don’t do that. It is clever writing to be fair… all in all a close to perfect game. I am babbling on for a long time, my bad 😅 But if you have a lot of time on your hands, if you know who John Wolfe is, awesome guy, horror youtuber. He did a play-through where he didn’t collect any evidence so the dialogue is just hilarious since they don’t know anything about the lore, and he chose the most obscure options that no one does first time playing, for example when Jess falls down and tries to push the mine cart, you as Mike get the option between being heroic and helping her push the cart OR you can just watch her do it and the game gives you the option to help her 5-10 times 🤣 Thanks for reading🤗

In terms of missed lore, you would have had to prevent Sam from getting caught by the psycho at the end of her towel-draped attempt to flee. She finds quite a bit during that time she's otherwise tied up waiting for Mike to save her. I forget if Matt could have found some. But I think the Sam thing is the big one. Which, like, it's hard to get her to survive that. (Incidentally, it's during that sequence she could have used the bat--which is why that never resolved). Otherwise, like, you did a great job finding most of the stuff. re: The Ending. I do think that for a single playthrough being able to kill three people on a single decision feels kinda meh. That said, I do think about it as a multi-stage final boss (so to speak) so I think once you understand the mechanic of how the group works their way out of the cabin by working around the wendigo, like, it makes sense.

Man I thought for SURE when you found the loss totem of mike burning alive you would have put 2 and 2 together but other then that you did well. People aren't giving you enough credit for saving Jessica second hardest character to save almost no one does.

@@UnlistedAgain I mean Mike SHOULD be one of the easier characters to save. About 6 totems tell you to save mike and buy time for everyone to get out of the house before setting off the explosion. Mike is also along with Sam (and Josh sorta I will get to it) a character who can't die UNTIL the LAST CHAPTER. No the most difficult character to keep alive is Matt. While his 1st and 3rd death are incredibly easy to avoid his second the hook death is the most common death in lets plays. Very few people remember the rule of thumb that in situations like that you help yourself before helping others. And because of how the flare gun works most people don't have a defense against the attack. But while Matt is the hardest character to keep alive Josh is the hardest character to SAVE. Keeping josh alive is pretty easy just find Hannahs Journal so he calls out to her and gets spared. However to prevent him from turning into a wendigo is EXTREMLY difficult. To keep Josh from turing not a SINGLE character can die you have to keep them all alive AND you have to make Josh remoursfull for his actions at the end of chapter 8. Tldr Matt is the hardest character to keep alive and Josh is the hardest to save
