Guys guys guys Gregory did NOT sabotage the elevator!! It was the mimic!! Two separate dialogue boxes can be seen in the elevator scene, along with the sound of the speaker adjusting at 21:13 -21:14 Granted we don’t know if Cassie is alive, but Gregory did NOT collapse the elevator Edit: Information from the source code actually says it is Gregory, as the Mimic’s Gregory lines are Grimic, which are not present in the elevator ending, I’m still skeptical, but the source code goes against my first reasoning

Unless the mimic got crushed by the elevator like a idiot, they're is only two things down there : the mimic and Roxy, and we don't know if she's ok or not after fighting the mimic. So I never understood what the mimic is, but I dont think that this robot thing at the end is the mimic If anybody remembers there were a cr*ompletly crazy theory form the game theorists that William afton created a few robots versions of his dead son at different ages, and this theory looked really realist after the release of security breach cuz gregory could be one of theses fake son robots (with the example of him also having the Vanny statis when she were close). So this massive robot, shaped like a human with the shapes of a human saying that he litteraly is gregory could also be one of the fake son robots right ? This "fake sons robots" theory lookeds crazy back at the days, but more and more we go into security breach lore and more and more it becomes real, everything fits

I'm pretty sure it is the mimic and it's just mimicking Gregory (using phrases he's said before in SB); and Helpy+the Cams Cassie uses shows that they have the tech to mimic people's voices. It was calling itself Gregory as that's the only introduction Gregory ever gave (and seems to be the only person it knows how to mimic, so it has no other way to say what it is) Afton creating a bunch of robot sons isn't canon and tbh has little evidence towards it..I highly doubt Gregory is a Robot (if he is why is he friends with regular human children? How do they know him?)

This is so sad. In security breach, something was different, Gregory wasn’t just a normal kid. It’s so sweet to see that to Cassie and other kids the animatronics would be nice. Here you are in security breach wrecking everything and in ruin you find that all of this could’ve been different and it would’ve been fine. Also, people say that Cassie seems much more alive and more human in this one than Gregory did. Maybe because… he’s not…?

I didn't expect to tear up for Roxy. She's actually so sweet and kind, and probably was an awesome Cool Big Sister figure for a lot of kids. That was a lot of good characterization in a single scene, followed by Cassie crying for a while afterwards, made for a really effecting scene!

I ABSOLUTELY love the differences in the two children and their animatronic partners, Gregory is willing to fight back, while Cassie is more of a pacifist, Galmrock Freddy never wanted to hurt his friends, thus he's more passive, Roxy on the other hand more than makes up for Cassie's lack of aggression, willing to use brutal force to protect her, it is absolutely lovely to see the parallels between the two pairs. Also Cassie is more reactive to the jump scares, which makes her game overs feel a ton more believable, honestly the devs did an amazing job filling this game with details.

Now I understand why it was Gregory's voice that was used to lure Roxy. Since she can't see, she assumed the child she was chasing was the one who ripped off her eyes, if she heard Cassie's voice, she wouldn't have attacked her. She immediately let go of her and apologized when she heard Cassie screaming in fear after grabbing her arm Also I think it's funny how the child's favorite is the kind one, Freddy was Gregory's favorite and Roxy is clearly Cassie's It's just sad how Gregory goes "yeah, you unleashed something extremely dangerous, it's not your fault, don't blame yourself, but I'll have to sacrifice you" I understand he doesn't want to risk it, but that was really cold, especially when you see from Cassie's perspective that they were pretty close (she wouldn't have risked her life in an abandoned facility with killing robots if that was not the case) That is, if we consider it is truly Gregory speaking, but the timing when the elevator falls just after is weird

However, I have seen some ties. It could not even be Gregory at all or Vanessa told him about the M.X.E.S and the mimic being down there. But when the Real Gregory says Now it’s free, the microphone screech’s like someone is taking over aka mimic and the voice lines overlap each other meaning mimic is the one that dropped the elevator. To also solve the problem on why he would do that.. that’s not the only elevator. There’s another he could access when Gregory went down below.

Did anyone else realize that the mimic was running out of samples of Gregory’s voice? In its conversation with Cassie at the start of the episode (2:00 I think) you can actually hear the tone shifts between words, as though they’ve been poorly spliced together. An interesting detail, I think.

In earlier episodes, something about gregorys voice seemed off to me, there were slight cutoffs and some of the voice lines were being reused from the base game. I think in the begginning of the dlc the mimic was taking its time, but by the end it got impatient and rushed splicing the audio together.

The 'Glitchtrap' apparition that kept following you...was not actually Glitchtrap at all. It was the PizzaPlex's security program and keeping the real Glitchtrap/Mimic imprisoned. The reason M.X.E.S and the animatronics attack you is because...well, you're an intruder. You broke into the PizzaPlex and started shutting down the security nodes, so they responded in kind. It's worth noting that when you first encounter Chica, she does not attack you at all. At that point, she does not register you as a target because you have not yet touched any nodes. Roxy targets you because she (Mistakenly) thinks you are Gregory, but completely stops when she realizes it's Cassie. The only one who attacks without provocation is Monty, who...well, Monty lol -and Freddy, who is questionably real (He disappears if you put the mask on). Chica, Monty and Roxy all get deactivated through the DLC, just as Mimic wanted you to do. It's a stark contrast to the base game because there, the animatronics were aggressive from the start, and targeting Gregory specifically. There is something about Gregory, *specifically*, that makes them incredibly aggressive.

Part of me thinks that Freddy is real and the reason he is invisible to the mask is that he is still on safe mode. The thing that disconnected him from the pizza pled in the first place. So he wouldn’t be seen by the mask since he is disconnected from the network. And he can’t see anything in the network since no connection and no head.

It has the prototype label and a different, green giftbox within the stomach, but it is more or less in the same spot as the Vanny ending and conveniently missing its head as well. Man, from an outside viewer, this DLC was done much better than the main game. It had some genuinely scary moments, the game looked amazing, and it actually made me FEEL for the characters (Cassie and Roxy). Super excited for FuhNaff to play this, MatPat to spend 10+ hours beating it, and of course, about a dozen Game Theory videos talking about this DLC. Major props to Dawko for pumping this entire playthrough out in such a short amount of time.

There's 2 more endings you can unlock Dawko: one involves a Fredbear cutout when you're being chased by the Mimic, and another is found by taking an alternate path instead of going to the elevator at the end of Chapter 9 which is accessed by finding 4 secret cameras within the camera systems in Chapters 1, 3, 5, and 7

I bet that wasn’t even Gregory the second time. Mimic probably sabotaged the elevator somehow to stop Cassie from escaping. As for “Freddy”, he has “Prototype” stamped on the bottom of his foot. He didn’t have that in Security Breach, you see his feet when he was in the Roxy Raceway lounge. I don’t think _the_ Gregory ever contacted Cassie. He and Freddy are probably long gone. If not by the sinkhole/Afton ending, then they probably escaped in that van.

I think that is Freddy because judging by this DLC, the Princess Quest/Vanessa being freed from Glitchtrap ending is canon. In that ending, freddy was left with his head and was dismantled by staff bots. In ruin, he is headless with the rest of his body having holes almost, if not the exact same places as the past ending. I think they added they either added the prototype to trick us, or it is a different freddy. I’m never writing this long of a comment ever again, jeez. Edit: might have mixed up the endings 😅

We hear Gregory trying to contact Cassie through a staffbot but he fails, but I have to agree it doesn't feel like it was Gregory who knocked down the elevator, when that happens there's a faint distortion/static when he says 'I know you did it for me', I caught it with my headphones, it's extremely faint and easy to miss but it's there not to mention the way he says that feels Mimic like, not to mention the name tag saying who's talking on the subtitles splits, that never happened in any moment of the game when he's talking, the text just keeps going instead of having two tags it's always just one, so instead of us getting Mono'd (Little Nightmares 2 reference), it's likely the Mimic or whatever that rabbit thing in the glitch world is hijacked the message (and it says Gregory because the Mimic refers to himself as Gregory, giving us a giant red herring) to make it look like Gregory betrayed Cassie (in case she survived which would make her grown resentful of him) and knocked down the elevator. The Mimic in the books could drain energy from things, who's to say this one can't as well? Personally it's looking to me like a mix of Princess Quest and the Afton Ending.

I've always disliked how people who appear with such overconfidence are always disliked or hated on and cast out by those who won't bother to put in the work to crack open the shell and look at the heart. Inside most egotistical, reserved and aloof people with a hard, nigh-impenetrable shell is a soft, warm and loving heart vulnerable to the dangers of the world. I'm one of these people that I know, so I empathize with Roxy and her insecurities a lot. I'd actually say it destroys Security Breach, like nothing that happens in Ruin is even eluded to in it. Mimic is never established and Burntrap has nothing in common with what we see here. They don't act the same, they don't move the same, they're such polar opposites despite apparently being one and the same. Also consider that the Burntrap ending is both the only ending with a cinematic and is also completely noncanon is horrendously stupid. Ruin is a game about a little girl being utterly betrayed to apparently convey that the books ARE canon and the real big bad of everything now is a single endo briefly mentioned like 1 time in the novels. It kind of just makes Security Breach a massive pointless waste of time.

I get the distinct feeling that we never actually hear from the real Gregory at all during this game, even during that last bit with the elevator. I think that's a trick being played by the mimic again, possibly using that implant or another walkie talkie. I'd like to think Gregory doesn't even know this is happening tbh. EDIT 8-5-23: I now think that Gregory was speaking to us during the chase, but got replaced during the scene in the actual elevator.

Like the first time he spoke was when the Mimic was fighting Roxy, then throughout the chase scene (not to mention Cassie left the other walkie in there lmao), THEN he doesn't speak until the Mimic is away from the elevator. Speaking of, the elevator is only a one way elevator (since the princess quest ending is presumed canon, the elevator would not be used) and Gregory would know that if he had the schematics. Just doesn't sit right with me imo.

If you listen closely at the elevator. You can hear Gregory expaining the situation, then he changes narrative and tells it isn't her fault and the elevator falls. You can even hear the change, how they speak. One is more natural, the other is more objective. Between the change of narritive you can hear a screeching noise, which happens when the audio channel turns on/off or switches between inputs. I think first the REAL Gregory was speaking, then the mimic got over the speaker and the elevator falls.

Candy Cadette's story is relating to the fact that Gregory and Vanessa locked the mimic in the basement. The mimic eventually learned the lullaby (aka learned how to mimic gregory) and tricked Cassie into freeing him.

That implies he was part of the MXES system which "real" Gregory tells us was designed to keep the Mimic in. I think it's currently unclear (of course, it's FNAF lmao) how Glitchtrap fits into all of this and if the blue bunny is even him. I think it's entirely possible that Glitchtrap is actually also trying to stop the Mimic, but honestly who knows at the moment.

Spoilers: The way Roxys ears twitched while she was talking to Cassie, like those of an affectionate dog made the whole scene with her even more heartbreaking. How she talks so softly, tilts her head attentively and narrows her eyes, her mouth ever so slightly agape while awaiting Cassies answer... Well done. The work of the voice actors is just chefs kiss. Cassies tiny little sobs after deactivating the last node, after deactivating Roxy made my heart ache. It's just amazing how voice actors are able to give us the feels. Or at least me. Dawko? The really interesting thing about this dlc is that it’s almost like a territorial battle between two animals. One of these creatures is glitch trap with his weird man bunny form inside the ar world manipulating the animatronics to attack Cassie, while the other is the Mimic who is trying to fend off glitchtraps attacks so it can get to kill Cassie all by itself

@@cryppi1510 The mimic was fighting against glitchtrap when he temporarily deleted him for one, for two the bunny couldn’t be the security program because it summons the animatronics and three glitchtrap wasn’t necessarily fighting mimic over the VANNI specifically but the VANNI includes all of the virtual realm in the game which includes the things that restrict you to either the real or virtual world and when Gregory aka the mimic temporarily deletes glitchtrap
