Came back to this final video because I sincerely miss hearing from Danielle. Her attitude toward life inspired me, and her posts helped me feel less alone in hard times. I hope her family knows how much we appreciated her and the glimpses she allowed into her life. She had this much importance to strangers - I’m sure knowing her in person was a real gift. Thank you for letting us continue to enjoy Danielle’s work.

@@nbr9677I saw in some other comments that you say you're her sister. I'm really struggling right now to keep it together. I simultaneously want to believe you and do not want to believe you. She had offered an opportunity to connect outside of YT, but I chose not to, and I've always wondered if she was somewhat offended even though she was very gracious. This was merely a friendly thing based on something I had asked her in another video. I related to Danielle in that I'm hesitant about connecting offline with people I meet online. And I really related to and appreciated her blunt "take me as I am" attitude. Now, I'm wishing I had taken her up on that offer. I'm sorry... I don't want to be melodramatic, but I can't stop my tears right now. I'm not asking you to reveal anything personal or anything that she didn't want revealed, but is there anywhere outside of YT I can see info about this? I'm feeling really terrible right now. I feel like I've lost an old friend... I just don't want to believe it.

@@nbr9677 Thank you, and I guess I'm going to accept this as an unbearable, devastating fact. I am so sorry for your loss. She was a rare individual in the online ecosphere in that she behaved in a respectful, polite manner but made no bones about how she felt. Some people think that being "real" is just license to be a jerk, but she showed that you can be yourself without sh*tting on everyone else. I'm sure you don't like revisiting this topic, so I truly appreciate your reply. I've been hoping against hope that this isn't true, but you look too much like her for it not to be. Insofar as one can love someone they don't personally know, I loved your sister. I wish you peace as well. ♥️

First off, gonna miss you something fierce. Not "you" as in your content so much as "you" the person and the artist. Second, I don't know that I could ever express how much you helped me cope with the physical condition I went through. Your videos taught me to focus and meditate in a way that allowed me to separate my mind and my attention from the pain. Every medical professional I've seen has expressed incredulity towards my ability to cope with my circumstances. Without the help your videos provided I don't know how I'd of survived, and I mean this with all due seriousness. Lastly, I'm not one to wish others vague platitudes of happiness and fulfillment like a store bought greeting card. It's my sincerest hope that you enjoy yourself and those you care about for as long as you can. I cannot thank you enough for sharing apart of yourself with us. I don't know you and you don't know me, but I love and respect you with all my heart. If you ever need anything let us know please? I'll miss you, often, and fondly. And I'll never forget you.. 🐘

About 10 years ago I was living with the worst anxiety of my life so to try and calm my mind/body enough to sleep I would watch Bob Ross clips on KZbin. One day I saw a recommended video of yours, a soft touches of hands and neck video like this one. Your voice and mannerisms immediately set me at ease and have any time I've needed auditory comfort ever since. Even recently I've been leaving your Buffy videos on while I do hard tasks because it's like a friend telling me a story to keep my mind off things, mixed with the fandom nostalgia of how much I loved Buffy. I appreciate everything you've given us, including this farewell. None of it was ever required, which makes it more meaningful to me, but especially know you didn't need to apologize. We have your backlog to comfort us when we need it. As much as we love your creativity and wit and diction in new forms, we love what you've given so far. (I'm personally a huge fan of the pocket watch cleaning role-play, the hand massage video, and the asmr cruise survey. Those will continue to nourish me.) Thank you for bringing us relaxation all these years. My favorite is the over-explaining everyday items (with lint rolling)

Thanks for the last decade. You already know that you helped me through one of the most difficult periods of my life. I've finally come out the other side, so never be afraid to reach out if I can return the favour. Or cake.

I'm sad but you have to put yourself first always. I remember the canoe video when it was uploaded and the calmness of it. Stuck around ever since Godspeed and best of luck to you!

So sorry to hear you're leaving, I subscribed almost a decade ago and never found anyone else quite like you, your voice and hand movements were exactly what triggered my asmr. I literally watch at least 2 of your videos every night as part of my sleep routine. All time favourites are anything with that lint roller, oh my goodness. I'll miss you but you need to be happy and if stepping away achieves that then I wish you all the best for the future. So long and take care, from a long-term UK fan

Really going to miss you! I was so excited to see this and thought I’m so glad you are back! A bit bummed that you are leaving but I know everyone needs to do what’s best for them and I understand that. If you change your mind in the future and decide to come back I’m sure we will all be thrilled. We are actually indebted to you and to your dedication. So thank you so much! Best wishes for whatever your next adventure is!

A sad day to see my #1 KZbinr go, but of course we send you off with love! I do hope that you still have a small circle of friends and family that you will be keeping in contact with regularly, I don’t think anyone should be alone all the time. Thank you for 10 years of incredible content. For a long time when you were posting regularly, you were literally the only person I would watch. I will continue to enjoy your videos and wish you all the best ❤️
