I wonder if that’s a black and Hispanic thing. I’m Hispanic and I’ve heard the worst things ever from other Hispanics, putting me down for trying to better myself. It’s sad that other Mexicans know how we are with each other and nothing changes. This was said in Spanish, but I’ll translate this little story to English. There’s 2 buckets filled with lobsters. One has “white” lobsters and the other has “Mexican” lobsters. Someone noticed that only the white lobster bucket has a cover on it, while the Mexicans had no cover. When asked why, the man said, “because one white crab will get out, and he’ll help lift all the others out. If one Mexican tries to get out, the rest of them will pull him back down.”

Well I don’t really care of what people think of me. But for me, I am half Mexican, and if people here in the USA who were born here, who are also leaders of fraternities who are also half Mexican like I am said shit like that to me, I’d call them sellouts, because I’d be telling them, that I am facing the same things and same struggles that they’re facing every day, and if they’d ask me, I wouldn’t be the sellout, they’d be the real sellouts, for doing shit like that towards me. I mean let me ask you all a personal question, if any of you guys out there who are also facing and going through this problem, what would you guys say or do about this, no matter of what people around say or think about you, regardless if you do and/or don’t care if what other people think of you?

@Deme T.v. How many people are called sellouts today in real life , for thinking different ? Larry Elder Ben Carson, Candace Owens to name a few. I think everyone should life by the Peter Dale Winbrow poem Man in the glass.

It all depends on what the person is doing.

@@DemeTv So you consider Larry Elder a sellout ? You consider Coleman Hughes a sellout ? Do you consider Ben Carson a sellout ? I think it's good people have different views. Coleman Hughes was the only person, I ever saw make a great argument for reparations, at the congressional hearing. Coleman Hughes is called a sellout, I totally agreed with everything the man said. Unlike that Tashiki Coates character with Red Herrings and things that have no barring on the topic.

The answer is yes. When you are using your platform to put down your own people that's what it is regardless of dollar amounts

I know, right? because when I was a little girl my grandmother taught to remember Phillipians 4:13 "I can do all through Christ which strengthens me." in other words that was her way of telling me to never give up on my dreams whenever times got hard and to keep going.
