I’m from the town where this happened and went to school with her. Salisbury, NC is in Rowan County. I also saw her at church a few times. It was her stepfather. When my daughter was young 2-3 years old I would have discussions regarding personal boundaries etc. I also let her know that if anyone said or did something and told her not to tell or it's a secret to always let me know. I watched this story on the ID channel years ago.. It bought tears to my eyes... Reggie had a fight with her boyfriend. Reggie went to the prom with her.. I can't believe the mom allowed all this to happen. Reggie didn't want her to go visit her real dad..
